I don't know about the rest of the students, but I like my bloodlust quenched with minimal shedding of actual blood, thanks. Maybe it's my impeccably polite English upbringing or something.

Yes. I'm pretty sure my DVD has English subtitles. And even if it doesn't, it's not important. All that is important is that we watch the students murder each other in as violent a way as possible.
